Student Experiences Abroad

NANOGrav sends roughly nine students a year abroad for research experiences funded through NSF's International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) program. These students work in China, South Africa, and India to foster new collaborations with scientists and students in those countries. Two undergraduate students and one graduate student or postdoc travel to each site to ensure a collaborative research and mentoring environment.
